Mimosa Red
A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Syrah, this wine was aged for 36 months in French oak and then blended by our Winemaker to bring out the best in each variety. Bold, rich and lively, seductively perfumed and heroically structured with a kiss of elegance. Expect an aromatic rush of red and black fruit; hints of chocolate, coffee and licorice followed by the spiciness of black pepper.
Turkey Tail Red (White Merlot)
This wine exhibits all the charm of a fine Merlot, but with the freshness and softness that comes when the juice is
quickly separated from the skins giving it an Inviting salmon color. Incredible fruit flavor without being overly sweet.
Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon was aged 36 months in French
Oak to create distinctive characteristics of black cherry, vanilla
and black current. This wine has the potential to age well for 3 to 5 years.
Grown in the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina it goes well with steak,
barbeque, spicy foods or a good cigar.
Cabernet Franc
This Cabernet Franc has a deep ruby color with distinctive characteristics of blackberry,
cherry, and plum. It has the potential to age well for 3 to 5 years. Grown in North Carolina it goes well with lean beef, lamb, and medium cheeses.
Syrah
This North Carolina grape is a thick fruity thick skinned fruit that produces intense wine with a deep purple color. This wine displays a smooth supple texture with flavors of blackberry, current, tobacco, and black pepper. This wine will age well for 5 years or more. Serve with North Carolina Bar B Que, steaks or other grilled meats.
Merlot
This full bodied North Carolina Merlot demonstrates nice color with hints of black cherry and chocolate with a velvety finish. The wine would nicely complement a filet mignon or kabobs off the grill. It also pairs well with medium cheeses.
Vino Classico (Chianti) - Seasonal - Fall
The plumy fruit flavors and soft rounded tannins of this Italian
classic exhibits aromas of cherries fused with spicy, peppery notes.
Vino's acidity matches up with acidic foods like tomatoes and cuts
through rich dishes like braised rabbit.
Shortoff Red (Pinot Noir) - Seasonal - Spring
The plumy fruit flavors and soft rounded tannins of this Italian
classic exhibits aromas of cherries fused with spicy, peppery notes.
Vino's acidity matches up with acidic foods like tomatoes and cuts
through rich dishes like braised rabbit.
Chambourcin
This multi-dimensional dark-berried French Hybrid developed in 1963 by Joannes Seibel in the Loire Valley of France, has been planted in America since the 1970’s. It continues to increase in popularity in North Carolina producing deep colored wine with aromatic flavors. Its thick skins produce a medium bodied wine with high tannins and good acidity. This wine pairs well with strong cheeses, pasta and beef or lamb dishes.
